Company details and listing contact

Who this is for

Landlords and property managers filling in their business details. Anyone can see them; only the account owner can change them.

Before you start

• The Company name is the name your tenants and owners see, including on email from eSamaHomes ("Your company name via eSamaHomes").
• A listing can't be published without a Lead email and a Business phone.
• A logo must be a JPEG, PNG or WebP image, up to 10 MB.

Steps

1. Open Settings, then the Company tab.
2. Under Company Details, fill in Company name, Business address, Business phone and, if you have one, License number ("Real estate or property management license"). The address is optional.
3. Click Save Changes. "Company details saved" shows.
4. Under Listing contact, type the Lead email, where renters' inquiries from listing sites go, and, optional, your Website. Phone shows the business phone from step 2.
5. Click Save.
6. To add a logo, click Upload under Logo and choose the image. Click Replace to change it, or the remove button next to it to take it off.

Example

Leo Park runs Park Lane Rentals. He types the company name, the business address 120 Bay Street, Tampa, FL 33602, the business phone (813) 555-0142 and his license number, and clicks Save Changes. Under Listing contact he types leasing@parklane.example and clicks Save, then uploads his logo. His first listing can now be published with that email and phone.

What happens next

• Your listings show your company name, lead email, phone, website and logo. See Listings.
• Renters' inquiries from listing sites go to the Lead email.
• Default late fee on this tab is saved with its own Save ("Default late fee updated"), but it is not charged and not filled in on new leases. The late fee comes from each lease's Late Fee. See Late fees and late notices.

If something looks wrong

• "State must be a 2-letter code, e.g. FL". Type the state as two letters.
• "ZIP must be 5 digits, or ZIP+4". Type 33602 or 33602-1234.
• "Enter a value between $0 and $500". The default late fee must be from $0 to $500.
• Phone says "Missing. Add a business phone in Company details above." Add the Business phone and click Save Changes.
• "Only an account owner can change these." Ask an Owner on your team.
• A listing won't publish. It needs both a Lead email and a Business phone.
