Terms of Service

Early-access version. This plain-language document covers the eSamaHomes alpha and will be replaced by a full version before general availability. If it changes, you will be asked to accept the new version.
These terms are an agreement between you and eSamaHomes about your use of the eSamaHomes service. By creating an account or accepting an invitation, you agree to them.
1. The service
eSamaHomes is software for landlords and property managers to manage properties, tenants, leases, payments, maintenance and related records. Tenants, owners and vendors may use the portals an organization invites them to.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google; we do not store passwords. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
If you create an organization, you are responsible for the people you invite to it and for the access you give them.
3. Your data and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the information you put into eSamaHomes. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for having the right to enter information about other people, such as tenants, applicants, owners and vendors, and for complying with the laws that apply to you, including fair-housing, tenant-screening, trust-accounting and privacy laws.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans start with a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription renews automatically at the price shown when you signed up. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
Rent and other payments collected through eSamaHomes are processed by our payment partners under their own terms.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use eSamaHomes to break the law, to discriminate unlawfully, to send spam, or to try to access data that is not yours. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Early-access service
The service is in early access and is provided “as is”. Features may change, and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using eSamaHomes at any time. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms. On request, we will help you export your organization’s data.
8. Changes
When these terms change, the version date above changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before you continue using the service.
