When a tenant pays rent online, eSamaHomes keeps a 2% platform fee from that payment, and Stripe charges its own processing fee. Both come out of the payment before it reaches your Stripe account.

Can I sign up today?
We are opening accounts to a small group first. Email hello@esamahomes.com and we will set you up.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A new account gets a 7-day free trial. We ask for a card when you start it, and you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. If you had an account before, there is no second trial, and the card is charged when you subscribe.
What does it cost when tenants pay online?
eSamaHomes keeps 2% of each online rent payment, and Stripe charges its processing fee. Tenants are not charged extra. Payments you record yourself, like cash or checks, carry no fee.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from your billing settings. Your account stays open until the end of the period you have paid for. After that it is locked until someone on your team subscribes again, and tenants cannot pay rent online through eSamaHomes while it is locked.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from your billing settings. The change takes effect right away, and Stripe prorates the difference. To move to a smaller plan, you need no more units than it allows, so remove units first.
What counts as a unit?
Every unit you add to eSamaHomes counts toward your plan: an apartment, a house, or a room you rent on its own.
